Seven Principles of Warehouse Storage : What is it and How it Works

1. Storage by shape

5. By managing one item number per location based on the address, we aim to reduce the man-hours required to search for item numbers and reduce errors in receiving and shipping items.

6. Visual management of abnormalities:

Create a system for visually identifying abnormalities and take appropriate measures to prevent recurrence.

7. Storage by flow rate:

By storing high-flow items near the receiving and shipping areas of each zone and the main aisles, work paths can be shortened.
