Features of Double Deep Racking

1. High storage density: Double-deep racking achieves higher storage density than traditional single-deep racking by placing two pallets of goods on each beam. *Approximately 30~40% higher density

2. Sorting of goods: This racking system allows for the sorting of goods by allowing the first pallet of goods to be stored at the rear, while the second pallet of goods can be easily accessed from the front.

3. Space saving: As the goods are placed front to back, double deep racking reduces the number of aisles required, thus saving valuable space in the warehouse.

4. Applicability: Suitable for storing large quantities and small types of products, especially for those that do not require frequent access.

5. Investment Cost: Compared to other automated storage systems, double deep racking has lower installation and maintenance costs, but can significantly increase storage capacity.

Demonstration of the operation of Double-deep Racking:

1. Cargo access: Usually a forklift is used to access the cargo. The forklift moves the front palletized goods out of the way in order to access the rear goods.

2. First in, last out: Since the goods are usually accessed from the front, double deep racking follows the principle of first in, last out.
